I also have an MG 4 trophy and I learnt early on how to turn this off. The trouble is I have to turn it off every time I get in the car again. It doesn’t remember either this or manual speed limit setting. Really annoying.

Thank you Kithmo, but certainly my last BMW electric car was very accurate. Apart from the intermittent speed sign I am loving my MG so far.

My previous cars have given me the speed limit, but as far as I know, not read from the speed signs on the road. They were quick and accurate.

I bought an MG 4 EV trophy yesterday. The speed limiter facility was crucial in my choice. Mine is supposed to operate by recognising speed signs. Much of the time it fails to do so! I get that same (- -) sign that you do. The dealer doesn’t seem to know why. 😡
