I have purchased from chipex on 2 occasions. I purchased the paint for the MG because I could not get any from the dealer or online. All paint has been an excellent colour match. It was pricey but includes applicator sticks and levelling fluid. It works well but takes a bit of practice.

This is usual on many cars including my own MG. It is to prevent unlocking and leaving it unlocked inadvertently without accessing the vehicle. It will remain unlocked if you open the door or boot.
