Thanks Rolfe,
I charged the car to 100% and left it until the charger stopped (as you suggested).
Drove around, and indeed the consumption returned to normal :) :) :)
Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
I only charge the vehicle using a 7KW charger. I charge it whenever the battery charge level is at or around 40% and charge it up to 80%
I thought that this method was balance charging the battery.
I agree. They convinced me to test for another couple of weeks.
They also told me that I should charge the battery to 100% once a month, and they insisted even though I pointed out that the manual advices to charge up to 80% as much as possible.
Probably trying to find a reason why my 5000km...
I'm reaching out for insights or potential solutions to an issue I'm experiencing with my MG4. Initially, the car was performing efficiently at 15.5 kWh/100km (approx. 4 miles/kWh). However, following a fault and subsequent replacement of the AC compressor, I've noticed a significant increase in...
Hi,
What is your MG4 consumption like (city driving / Highway)?
Mine started at an average of 15.5 kWh/100km local driving and 18.7 kWh/100km on highway averaging 120-130 km/h.
Thanks
I charge at home. With my installation, charging costs €0.13/kWh. The public infrastructure is growing and currently charging cost about €0.19/kWh
What are the current rates in the UK?
Hi Les,
I see some MG4s running around the island. I've had mine for around 6 months now. Although electric car sales in Malta are on the increase, it is still a low overall percentage to ICE cars.
A nice way to shutdown the car would have been to hit the park button three times in quick succession. Saves you going through the menu etc. I hope MG will get the idea and provide the functionality in the next software upgrade.
This happened to me today. I got both errors. I reset the infotainment and also shutdown the car. Problem still there. Went to the Deaaler and they told me that there is an Update that needs to be done. As I went late and they were closing down, I was told to go again tomorrow. Drove to another...
The ideal way would be to have a simple way of telling the car that you intend to sit in it and there is no need to keep the head lamps on. A simple way would be, for example, to double press the P button. I hope MG thinks of such a simple solution and implements it in the next update.
