Just a bit of an update, the car has been to an MG dealer today who has apparently unbound the previous owner from the car. We shall see tomorrow when I pick it up. Oh and while they had it plugged in it threw up a fault with the telematics (SOS ecall button faulty) which they'll replace under...

Hi, thanks for the info, I'll give the salesman a couple of days then I'll contact him to see if he managed to sort it. It's meant to be in the body shop this week getting a minor scuff sorted, they've got a lot to do before collection on Friday am. I'll put this to the salesman tomorrow...

Thanks for all the replies.... Dealer checked the car today and it still has the previous owners details bound to it, they're taking it to a local MG dealer who have said they'll get it unlinked. 🤞

Wow hadn't thought about the unbinding, I'm buying it from a car dealership but not an MG dealership, hope this won't cause problems if it hasn't been done. I'll ring them in the morning. Thankyou

Thankyou, I'm looking forward to picking the car up, I think I just needed to hear some positives after drowning myself in reading problems people are encountering. After owning a lot of different car makes/models (albeit non of them electric) I'm only too aware of the problems some cars can...

Thanks Roldorf I'd already ordered a shell recharge card and an electroverse card, I'd looked at cards that have a subscription but think I'll hold off until I know what I'm doing and what I really need. 👍 Zapmap now downloaded and set to show pay at pump 👍. Thanks for the advice.

Can i ask in this thread about RFID cards for EV charging? Which one? Do I really need one? Will I end up with 10+ different cards due to the amount of different EV charging companies? Is there already a thread on this topic Sorry and thanks again
