What the display says and the number of miles that you can actually do are not the same thing. It very much depends on how you drive. If you're careful then 35 miles on a charge is very easy to achieve and 38 miles is possible.
W3W is a three square metre location. A post code can cover several thousand if not hundereds of thousands of square meters. I'm afraid you are never going to match the two.
I've had two Xantias and a C5. Thje only problem I ever had with any of them was with the second Xantia when discs and pads had to be replaced at 1500 miles. Probably a faulty batch as I had no further problems with them. The other two cars while I had them were trouble free. That said I sold...
It's said that there is no hardware JTO but the car does have a communication facility in the emergency SOS system so the most difficult part is probably already there.
I wish I could. Asked but was told MG don't supply the dealers with any specific information about what software changes do or the reasoning behind them other than the update campain number and a very few almost useless words about.
My HS PHEV is booked in for its third year service. Also listed is CARRY OUT SERVICE CAMPAIGN - SA019 MGHS PLUG IN HV BATTERY PERFORMANCE UPDATE. Does anyone have any idea what this is for please
While I fully understand that people are getting upset I would have thought that the legal requirement was to have a DAB receiver installed which MG have done. While I can see why the absence of presets and RDS upsets those without them at the end of the day they are purely refinements to the...
That's a shame. When you're talking in large volumes I suppose the extra cost of an unused bracket is more than the additional cost of making and stocking a LHD or RHD version of the roof.
I'd be interested to know how you get on Cafeg. On my last two cars (Volvo V40 and Qashqai) both had drivers door grab handles which I replaced with a sun glasses holder and would like to do the same with the MG.
Is anyone brave enough to look under the roof lining? There doesen't appear to be a different lining for LHD or RHD cars. I doubt there are different roofs either so I would have thought that the grab handle mounting points are probably present anyway. It could just be a case of buying a handle...
Laura, it appears when the cars camera detects a speed limit sign but is unable to read it correctly. This usually happens when there is additional writing, such as Slow or School below the actual speed limit sign.
@ColinB It was 6772 miles so less than you've done. I'm not sure when the low milage service is applicable. Like you I've had no problems at all in the 2.5 years I've had the car.
I think this is a bit of a generational thing. In the past people expected a free loan car as a part of the "service" given to the customer. Garages no longer consider a free loan as good thing to offer their customers and rely on free tea and coffee instead. So long as they all do the same it...
Do you every clear the junk/cookies etc. from your phone? I sometimes get similar problems if I forget. A phone is only a small computer and they suffer from the same problems as a laptop. Lots of rubbish downloaded that you're not aware of.
I've had my HS PHEV for almost 2 years now without any problems until yesterday. The auto headlight dip stopped working and I noticed that the camera was no longer reading speed limit signs. I can see that the windscreen is misting up in front of the camera. Some other manufacturers have a mod...
I admire your faith in other drivers @roythegrass. Personally I wouldn't want to be driving above 12mph so close to others that I feel in danger of loosing my wing mirrors. Especially to someone whoses driving ability is a total unknown.
