Thank you, for some reason the only time I can see a percentage display is whilst charging. All the other times it just tells me miles remaining. I tried fiddling around last night but didn't make much progress as an alert came up turning off the battery so I gave up!

I am truly grateful for your input. I love my car but acutely aware that I don't know enough about it! You guys are very helpful and patient and I hope that I don't annoy you too much! I will carry on asking questions!

Thank you everyone for your replies, I will have another go at trying to reset the meters tomorrow and I will do an equalisation charge. I hope I haven't inadvertently ruined my battery in the meantime!

When I start the car it tells me how many miles left in the battery and also the total number of miles my car has done since new

How long should I leave the car charging for to give it "a good balance" please?

Resetting the meters wouldn't affect the range though would it?

Im not sure if I have been doing a balance charge properly. Do I have to use the granny charger for that to happen?
