I like the fact that I now get to choose how fast I drive. With my previous leaf an economy of 3 mi/kWh meant a range of only 50 miles so I was forced to drive everywhere slowly. Choosing to drive slowly is nicer than having to drive slowly.

I thought the same so made a point of removing the key from my pocket and placing it in the cup holder. It still did it.

Mine has also been doing this occasionally. I think I'll start a new thread to see if anybody else has had it happen and whether there is a solution.

I use 10A at home when I'm awake, 8A when we are asleep or at somebodies else's house and 6A if I visit a caravan or somewhere else with limited power.

It is remarkably similar, but there was no damage to the suspension on ours. It always amazes me how good the repairers are. It now looks just like the day we collected it again.

Oh man, that sucks! We recently had similar due to the Mrs pressing the wrong pedal and launching our trophy into a wall. Our bodywork damage was very similar, or worse, but, as far as I know, no suspension damage. It isn't a write off and it's been 3 weeks since the repair was authorised.

It does actually do around 50 mpg on long motorway journeys at 70mph. The problem is with my daily short journeys where it doesn't get a chance to warm up. The 7 cold starts per day can't be doing the engine much good either.
