Sorry it has taken so long as I have been offline for a while. I did not get anything regarding the recall as the dealer said it was previously done in April
Had to get a new battery tonight. Car was dead this morning. What a carry on to get the door open to get the boot open to get to the battery. I had Halfords come to the house to fit the battery. Hopefully that is an end to this issue.
I know practically nothing about cars, so this may seem a stupid question, is the car safe to drive when this engine fault appears. I am not even sure if any of the safety features are working either. I deliberately crossed a white line without indicating and nothing happened.
I have only had the car for two years and a fault has appeared on the battery. I was getting messages saying do not park for 3 or more days. However this morning it was as dead as a dodo. I called the RAC you and they said I have a faulty battery. Is this covered as part of the warranty?
However...
The car was in for a service this morning and they have advised that there is a vehicle recall. Not sure if it is to do with the radio disconnecting. They did not say exactly what the recall was for. It is a couple of weeks before I have to return it to the garage.
