    Low tyre pressure

Or a leaking rim as lots of wheels have just some faster than others, also might be a good idea to swap them round so the sensors are in the right place

I've never had such a bad car. MG5 EV

Why are you going on about km, you say you drive in London this forum is mainly UK based and your car should record in miles, may be people would understand more if you keep miles not kilometers. 2 year I have owned my Standard range mg5 and I get 210 plus miles out of a full charge during the...

Second Service for 2021 MG5 SR

Some dealers are getting greedy I feel, it will get round and people will stop using them as it's not compulsory.

    Low tyre pressure

If its a slow leak around the rim it can be very hard to see. The air created very small bubbles over a large area of the rim both times. They took the tyres off cleaned the rims and put them back on now no more leeks, castings would not be porous its just the joint

    Low tyre pressure

Will shorten the life of your tyre and increase drag but now idea how much I just got fed up with putting air in every 2-3 weeks and was off on a long drive of about 600 miles over a few days.

    Low tyre pressure

2 tyres have now had to be sorted in 2 years both with the same fault developing. A leaking rim to blame for both fitter cleaned and refitted tyre all good. So might be just leaking rims.

MG5 will not charge at a fast charger

Matters not the cable being single or 3 phase if you are on AC the most you get on the early MG5 is 7kW as it's charged via the on board charger. The only way to get faster charging is with DC chargers.

MG5 will not charge at a fast charger

Mg 5 won't charge at 22kw so waste of time the series 1 mg5 on ac charging only makes 7kw as that is the rating of the onboard charger to get fast it must be connected to a DC charger. Some older chargers don't like mg 5. Try a newer charger or just a different system. That said I have never had...

    Tyres (original fit)

19k for the fronts appears to be good I remember some people saying they only got 11-15 k out of the fronts and lots of complaints mine were near legal limit with maybe 1/2 mm of tread above 1.6 so maybe I could of got another 500 miles. New are Autogreen Sport Chaser SC2 Tyres: 205/60 R16 92V...

    Tyres (original fit)

First run on new tyres returning 200miles on a full charge, the tyres have a grip rating of A and eco rating of D so not made any noticable difference to my range.

    Tyres (original fit)

Um well I chose recommended tyres after them identifying my car as a MG 5 EV so I would say yes to that. If they did not provide the right tyres I guess litigation might take place if needed.

    Tyres (original fit)

I have just changed my original tyres on the front only 21k miles and fronts close to limit, rears still 69% tread depth i.e. 6mm. This is interesting to the point the rears should be good 60k without issue this is a god distance and does not lend its self to the rhetoric "the tyres are not...
