Maybe a silly question but I can’t find the answer in the manual. What is the battery heating function for and when is it used? Thanks from a newbie EV owner.

We recently bought (leased) on the Affinity scheme but had to ask for the type 2 cable. The salesman said we only got the Granny Cable but his manager gave us a type 2.

We’re going skiing in the French Alps in March. Having only had my MG5 EV LR for a few weeks I’m dubious about a journey like that. Has anyone had any experience of traveling over 600 miles in France with their MG (or indeed any other EV) Thanjs
