Being a good Yorkshireman I had no intention of paying MG prices for a spare wheel. Managed to pick up a Mercedes space saver spare same size and bolt pattern for £40. The centre hole is bigger so I will turn a suitable spacer. An old jack and wheelbrace and job sorted.

I was using Apple Car Play and the screen froze. The physical buttons did nothing. Stopped and tried getting out and locking car but it was the same so I got on this forum and found out about holding the Home button which cleared it. Annoying that it did it I am hoping it isn’t a regular problem.

Picked it up this morning and enjoyed drive home, I think I should have bought a red car to match the key;)

Ok not the prettiest install but I now have 7kw charging and my gate will shut. Being from Yorkshire I did look at the most economical way of getting a 7kw charger.

Now I have my ZS ordered I was wondering about changing the Type 1 plug on the end of my 30amp cable to Type 2. It is a good 10m one. Has anyone done it?
