The only way to be sure is to try a different phone. My AA connection on a previous car was getting more and more unreliable - I tried many different cables but it turned out to be 2 years of compacted dust in the phone's port. Got it out pretty easily with a needle and it's worked fine ever...

Oof that's impressive brinkmanship 😂 I managed something similar in my Focus ST a few years ago. The engine sputtered and died 2 turns away from home, I managed to coast round turn 1, into turn 2, and then onto the driveway at about 2mph 😅

Just be careful what you put in there as there doesn't seem to be any way of deleting the custom ones, even after you change it. Could be some entertainment for the service engineers 😅 Maybe if you make enough of them they start overwriting at some point?

If I knew for sure these things would be fixed in app / car software I would be fine with waiting a while. I expect the bugs will be the focus for a while though before we're likely to see improved app features.

In general the software seems quite reluctant to let you remotely control the HVAC at all: sometimes doesn't connect, won't work if at max charge target, no scheduled preconditioning, only active for 10 mins, once that expires no further remote HVAC within ~45 mins. Bit of a shame really as...

It would be nice to have that option but unfortunately nothing for the google navigation on the small screen. Whatever's happening on the main screen doesn't affect the small screen; it's purely controlled from the steering wheel buttons.

On the Trophy the small display can show what music is playing from android auto, including album artwork. Nothing from google maps, not sure about other navigation apps.

In the charge management bit of the iSmart app you slide the little arrow under the charge level bar to select the max charge. Not sure if this is a Trophy-only feature, but then again the standard range is supposed to be charged to 100% anyway. Might be an issue for SE LR though if not available.

Same issue, plugged into port A on the left. I emailed my dealer about it; not that annoying though as long as it gets fixed soonish.

In the settings menu there's a "DST" option near all the other clock settings. It's daylight saving time, so it needs to be off (until the end of month). You would think the GPS would work this out itself but apparently not 🤷‍♂️

If you have an inverter with an additional input for an AC generator as someone mentioned above, then it seems like that should work. The only issue is you would have to manually swap between cables for charging / discharging, so probably more of an emergency / blackout situation than indirect...
