Ok , this is now solved . I have been in touch with The Wheel Shop and after some debate they sent me a replacement 18" space saver meant for an Audi . This fits front or back with loads of clearance around the calipers. Here is a picture of the spec on the wheel.

There are ball bolts supplied which mount into holes already there . Then the rubber mounts push into the ball bolts . Is quite secure but can be removed in seconds if needed. The cargo net and bag are optional.

That's right but I have 3 cables in this held securely and there is still room for bits and bobs if you need them . The main advantage is I can now have my boot floor on the lower level so increases space there.

Yeah that's why I waited for this one , saw the prototype about 8 months ago and ordered as soon as it was available.

My genuine mats , supplied foc with the car are still perfect after one year and 16k miles. So the quality can't be that bad. 👍

Is it just me but I don't want / need my car illuminated on the inside to that extent . I am quite happy with the standard bulbs and don't need the back seats illuminated, if anyone did want to get in the back I think they'll find their way in . I much prefer subdued lighting tbh.

The wheel size for a space saver is usually smaller because the aspect ratio of the tyre is different. The outside diameter is just about the same. Remember you are only doing 50 mph and only driving far enough to get your original tyre fixed. The jack will lift the car enough to swap over the...

You could leave the foam and pump in place , I chose to remove mine. The jack will fit inside the wheel dish so as long as the whole thing is in a wheel bag , should be safe enough.

Those are quite nice , better than fake carbon fiber which everyone seems to go for.

The cameras on the car are not of high enough definition for dash cam use. They are after all meant for parking.
