Where did you get the V2L adaptor from? Have you tried it in another MG?

I actually tried both, my car is the Trophy Connect and the Comfort version didn't load and came up with errors. Luxury worked straight away. but yes 22Q2

What Software have you got, they should have done the latest, which I believe is R22. I did have the same issue but the update fixed it, in November, I think

I have been looking for the map updates but can't find them, I'm very happy to do it myself, I would rather it was an OTA automatic thing, but......... So my maps are HERE_EU_21Q2_2021.............. There must be an update somewhere. I've found a couple of links but they seem to be broken.

No, nothing like that. Just reporting back if you are interested....... I disconnected the 12v battery, as suggested, it HAS fixed the problem, and more importantly, to me anyway, nothing was deleted or needed to be re-registered. I'll report the problem up to MG anyway. Thanks for your help

I haven't tried that on this car, will that do the same as a 'factory reset', which I did do to get out of 'Tow mode'? The reason I haven't tried the factory reset is the pain of having to re-enter all the log-ins, phones, WiFi....... etc

As far as I know, the ONLY way to turn 'towing mode' off is to do a factory reset. The problem is, it's a pain in the arse to set it all up again. Please, anybody who has this issue, report it to your garage/MG. The more people that report it...........

The electrics and the fitting are working. As we know there is a problem with the latest software update and 'towing mode' not turning off but, apparently, that's nothing to do with having a towball fitted.....

So, I had my towball fitted yesterday and had the car in MG last Friday, tyre pressure sensors have stopped working..... joy! I now have the towing mode fault, but actually, it's NOTHING to do with me just having a towball fitted!! Mine is a Trophy Connect.

There is a tow option on the infotainment. but honestly I don't know if it was there before or if it works
