Yes, the charge port door can indeed be opened by the brushes. It happened to me! Since then I’ve always locked the car while in the wash and no further problems. Re roof bars, I don’t have that worry (Excite).
I’m thinking of taking my LR Excite there for its first service (slightly less miles). I wonder, could I please ask if they gave you any paperwork for your own records (rather than keeping it all on their system, as they did for my PDI)?
Yes. I experienced exactly the same problem with my 5LR at several different chargers in Dumfries (Scotland) in September last year. I’ve charged okay on the few occasions when I’ve been lucky enough to find a working Instavolt charger elsewhere that wasn’t being used by a DPD van :(
I’m not surprised to hear this about Drive Leicester. I think you’ll find some comments on the MG Dealers thread. Spirit MG (Corby) and Donalds MG (Peterborough) are within striking distance and both have good reviews.

Yes, my offside washer froze yesterday whilst using undiluted solution. I’ve noticed that the nozzles have always produced a very fine spray and wondered if this might have been relevant, but put it down to the extremely low temp combined with a longish rural drive.
