Carbon air filter for MG5?

With my previous car, a VW Touran, when I took it for servicing, I was offered a choice between a "pollen filter" and a "active carbon filter". The latter cost a bit more, but apparently took care of some noxious gases as well as particles.

I just called my local MG dealer/garage and asked if carbon filters were available for the MG5. He looked it up on his system and said there is just a single type of cabin air filter available, and he didn't think it was a carbon filter.

Has anyone come across a carbon filter for the MG5?

Not personally, but I think James (of James & Kate YouTube channel) mentioned carbon filters being fitted to their mobile tech MG5's.

Not sure (but I assumed it was the same) on the 5, the ZS Exclusive (2020) has a charcoal (odour) filter and the Excite does not, so there are two types for the ZS.
EDIT: The 2020 MG5 brochure shows both models having the odour filter so there does seem to be only one, but it is the charcoal filter.
