Our Mitsubshi PHEV was a bit like that.....but at least I wasn't paying for road tax. I've now passed that on to a family member who needs its 4X4 capability,occasionally. Freeing up garage space.;)

Not quite so good when its p**ing it down....like is is now 16.00. My de-humidifer will be working overtime tonight.

Putting stuff on the seats can make the car think there is an unbelted passenger in there. I agree to what has already been said. ..leave the 3 rear seatbelts perminety plugged in ..it shorten the waiting period when you switch on. (I think)

Bird droppings can effect the efficiency of solar panels ......but a large flag!!:oops:

I buy about a gallon of petrol a year ..to put in my lawn mower ......I will have to tighten my belt.

On a related subject, I was recently working on my plug sockets in the garage and flicked off the individual circuit breaker ......then I realised it was still live! Now I'm a bit paranoid about double checking!!

I bought a secondhand Rolec off eBay, my electrician fitted at my holiday home. It has worked fine for the last 12 months.......but it is not been used very often!

Same here.....just to add insult to injury, my X1 developed an intermittent fault, just as I had it for sale.......I ended having to spend £1,300 to have a new computer fitted! I love my MG but would like a little bit more range.

I swapped for a BMW X1.. And I don't miss my monthly diesel bill of £80....one little bit!:)

Walking pace probably...they are wonderful around town and in heavy traffic. I tend to keep off motorways and my speed down below 60 as much as I can...without inconveniencing other road users too much.

What a bummer, I feel for you.. I love my cars and on the couple of occasions I have damaged them over the last 50 years....I keep going over and over how I could have avoided it. You at least are 'blame free'. It's not your fault that some "pond life" hit your car. You will have to...

If you do have Solar panels.........You need to look at all the implications...in detail before you change anything......IMO. Don't rely on some inexperienced call handler!...Check and double check.

Do you have solar panels? as well? If so i'd hold off with the smart meter.

I thinking of applying for a road tax rebate for the MG and the PHEV .....how do think I will get on? 😁

I think the Skoda looks a lovely car and with great range.....Let's see how things 'pans out' later in the year.

I replaced my 12v battery about 2 years ago....but the car gets very little use. I will have to make a point of using it on the next dry day, but to be honest, I just prefer to drive the MG....it accelerates quicker, it's more comfy over the bumps, it's easier to park...etc. etc.
