I was lucky. Grant Brown of Arnold Clark, Rutherglen, Glasgow, was the salesperson who fixed the Sat Nav issue for me on 24 Nov 22. My gripe is definitely with MG Motors UK and/or SAIC in China. The car's software is obfuscated (is that a word?)

Thank you!! I now have less deafening sat nav. Some controls are SO WELL hidden!

It's a little potty, but having accepted permissions in Privacy section of Settings, scroll the page down further and check boxes appear below the current screen. Well hidden! There you will be able to enable voice and sat navigation.
