If I could only have one it would be Electroverse all the way. Easy to find charge points some with discounts and gives you a route but you then need Google maps.

Hi, it should have an IP rating on the granny EVSE. They are designed for use outside. When I have used mine I put all the joints under the car just incase.

It was a moulded plug and the fuse holder on the plug did the damage.

This socket was used for a heater not on constantly as it cuts out when the temperature is reached.

If you are only charging a few times a month then use a local destination EVSE charge point. It will be much safer and quicker than the 'granny'.
