Tires related vibration? That’s how it felt to me.

I initially thought it was MG pilot so turned it off during the drive, it was still buzzing. Definitely feels different to wheel balance, a finer higher frequency vibration - feels almost like knobbly tire treads at high speed if you catch my drift….lol Steering EV motor axle buzz maybe...

Thanks for the explanation, but the issue is “from” 70mph, not just “at” 70mph. It doesn’t go away after that speed. So it’s not just a narrow frequency band that seems to be the problem. I don’t think it’s a big issue, but just make sure folks to look out for it. I will prob find it annoying...

Don’t see how that can cause vibrations in the steering….

My test drive, I experienced fine but obvious vibrations in the steering wheel at 70mph on butter smooth tarmac. Buzzing sort of feeling. Not present in the ER that I tested that same day.

Only Xpower had vibrations

0% APR ON THE LONG RANGE TROPHY is prob the best at moment Oh another thing - drove Xpower and extended range back to back. Had more obvious fine vibration in steering on motorways. Maybe tires related?

Test drove the Xpower today - very fast and rides very well. A bit lacking in drama with all that speed though. The extended range seems a better fit for the chassis and plenty fast enough in real world conditions. Was going to swap for Xpower in Green. Not sure now.
