Its not a case of who got it free and who paid really as each dealer does things differently. In my opinion if the dealer performs a full annual service on your car and you ask them to check to ensure the latest software is on your car they should install this for free as part of your annual...

How do you know that and where is your evidence the car does what you state ??

This isn’t right Andy?? The battery cells can only start to balance once the battery pack has reached its max 100% charge.

Owned my ZS EV MKII Long Range 2022 Trophy Connect since May22 and not yet updated maps but just found after reading all the posts this is the way to get to the Q1 2023 MG Maps. Go to URL User manuals and enter in your VIN number from the windscreen of your car and hey presto !!!

This car hasn’t got the latest software as there was a bms update late 21 to lower voltage to 449/450v.

This Thai app does not allow fault clearing on the MG ZS EV. PS the latest version is now v2.9

Please note there is a further update that is running v2.9 and an even newer version in beta test looking to monitor battery SOC in the UK accurately rather than being based on the Thai BMS.

@100% the GOM in eco showed me 302 miles.

If I reset the accumulative and current journeys the range will go up. Based on my current driving (3.6 mls p/kWh) I’ve just added 51.72kWh from 35% to 100% and as the MG app defaults to normal mode it’s showing 288 miles range so I imagine in eco mode that will be 298 miles. If I reset the GOM...
