    Anyone installed a large 12VDC to 220V AC Inverter in a MG5?

Yes, that image confirms that it has a cold starting current of over 500A, not that the MG EV needs that cirrent, so it will be of the right construction for heavy current applications, but only short duration.

    Anyone installed a large 12VDC to 220V AC Inverter in a MG5?

Hmm, you seem to have answered all your questions yourself but you need to consider the cell plate construction if you are taking 125A continuous from the battery. Leisure batteries have a very different construction from ICE car batteries, and I think the MG battery fits under the leisure...

    CarPlay keeps crashing

I have been using an iPhone 10S for 9 months with no issue. One thing to try is not start Google Maps from your phone but wait until it's plugged in then use the car menu to start the Maps; I've noticed iOS can get confused if it isn't the one that started an app.

And don't forget hills, the biggest drain on power is lifting 1.6 tonne of metal to the top of a hill and you don't get it back with KERS on the downhill stretches, as the conversion efficiency is not that good; biggest that is, unless you have a heavy foot and enjoy the traffic light grand prix...

    Tyres, tyres, everywhere

Do be aware that the tyre reviews need to be clear if the tyres are suitable for use on EV's; there are special tyres for these vehicles to take account of the large amount of torque they can be subjected to and the increased weight due to batteries. You can use any tyre but the EV ones are...

    Fog lights

These look like daylight running lights and not proper fog/driving lights. Most of these don't provide a proper illumination pattern and giving the side illumination that proper fog lights do. Perhaps someone can verify this.
