Is it specifically the facelift model? Doesn't say either way but given the non-facelift wan't in Europe, makes sense that it might be - and do the two models differ under the bonnet?
It is prettier than the one above though - looks like a smaller main section but definitely better looking...
I ordered one earlier - not sure why - but works out just under £30. Be interesting to see how it works as I suspect MG5 bonnet is heavier than the MG4. No doubt I’ll end up justifying that 70 litre frunk too 🤷♂️
Not sure they’d raise the bonnet - saw this video of the MG4 versions and they definitely assist but not raise on their own. They do fully support though.
I was just looking at that one. Seems a bit basic compared to the frunk for other models

Found this set which I think might be correct - description lists
For Roewe i5 (AP31/EP22) 2017-2023
For Roewe Ei5 (electric estate) 2017-2023...
I had a subscription for a few months when travelling for holidays - I did see stops being changed dynamically but can’t honestly say it impacted my planned route/stops but I guess that’s due to using ABRP to plan stops before I left. I do like seeing it show the current and destination SOC...
I watch some accident repair channels on YouTube and it's amazing how easily they take cars apart. I don't think I have that level of competency to put it back together again though!
Should work fine, they’re for raised roof rails - I use a set of Atera 122cm wide bars so these 135cm wide XL bars will fit, but with more of an overhang each side
I have a memory of an older model Passat having pretty weak DRL in a similar position possibly other VW models too. Not sure what the various other lights are.
Fit the stalk from the version that has these fitted from the factory (somewhere in South East Asia?) or from a ZS/HS - bribe a friendly dealer to mess with software and see if there is an option to recognise the stalk and/or lights (some creative hacking of the wiring loom might be needed...
I use Atera SIGNO RT 122cm bars (as I already owned them) - not sure if you can see the width clearly.
Also, according to the manual, the car is 1818mm wide
Anyone bought a windscreen reflective sun screen for the MG5? I've got an Exclusive and a touch concerned that the seats are gonna get a bit warm in the summer
I have a Kamei 510 (new model released now), originally bought for my Grand CMax but used on my MG5LR. Photo in my profile
I positioned the bars based on a combination of the MG5 manual (which is vague but says mount as far forward as possible) and the Ford manual (80cm gap between bars) - so...
I'm tempted to fit a set of driving/fog lights from AliExpress that would act as an additional set of DRL just to add more low level width to the lights for cornering, etc.
I turned off the auto main beam - a couple of times when I tried to flash other cars, the main beam went on permanently and I didn't have time (or enough interest) to figure out the how's & why's. I mainly do suburban driving so not proven enough of an issue yet to revisit.
It seems a bit subjective - based on previous experience & maybe even how good everyone's night vision is.
I came from reflector lights with 150% brighter H7 bulbs, I thought he standard bulbs in MG5 were poor. Now upgraded the bulbs but I think the projectors feel a bit 'narrow' compared to...
Standard Range model is 35kg (Recall issues to add page to user manual), Long Range is 75kg.
There are forum users with the Standard Range who have (at their own risk) successfully loaded more than 35kg, but who knows the implications to insurance cover, etc if issue arise 🤷♂️...
Mine work fine - sometimes I think they could come on sooner, so I twist the sensitivity dial away from me, but usually leave it alone. They're not perfect but 99% of the time they work such that I just don't notice them.
