You're right. Is was the over-speed limit setting. I thought the setting means warning if you're over the speed limit by that amount but it is actually the absolute speed that the warning was set for. Now switched off and problem solved. Thanks everyone for your replies.

I have a hypervolt with octopus go tariff. Not as good as octopus intelligent but I like the hypervolt much more than the other options available. No doubt over time octopus will sort out the compatibility issue.

Thanks I have read through the thread and it looks like a major c**kup for MG to lock the car audio into Amazon Music unlimited only. Market it completely useless for most people. Not sure whether there's a tie-up between MG and Amazon but it is absolutely pointless the way things stand currently.
