    XPOWER Eco Mode

Quartic, yes. Very radical design for the time.

Real World X Power mi/kWh Thread.

Yeah cheers m8. Getting texts and emails from insurance and repair companies now and all want the same info repeated. Could have been worse!

Real World X Power mi/kWh Thread.

Forgot to reset accumulated total, so all I can add was 1st bit... 223.4 miles covered 54 mph average 3.1 mls/kWh M23, M25, M40 & M6 Took details just after some dozy driver rear-ended me at a set of lights by M6 Jct 15 as I was heading for Tesla Trentham Gardens. No injuries and only a...

Tesla Model 3 to X-power or Extended range

I did a 600 mile round trip in UK last month and got 3.0mls/kWh average for mainly motorways. In theory that's 185 miles (61.8 kWh usable) but I wouldn't recommend going under 5% as it gets cranky and limits speed drastically.

Tesla Model 3 to X-power or Extended range

I've got a leased Xpower and love it, but then I don't have the range dilemma that you do. I get the occasional opportunity to floor it, but not every day, so for me the best things are the heated seats, heated steering wheel, seat comfort and ease of driving (knowing I can beat most other cars...

What software version are you on ?

R40 - love an update on phone/watch firmware etc. Hoping the next version for the Xpower helps some of the glitches.

Does anyone use their wireless charging mat. Other use.

Hardly ever use. Phone always plugged in for Android Auto and it sits in the tray with the slider open.

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Yes BSD is simply the orange symbol in both door mirrors that will light up if something coming alongside. LCA will rapidly flash (the same symbol) if the car thinks you're about to change lanes and it's sensed a vehicle and you're about to change lane. Still don't think there is an actual Auto...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Anyone else help on this? Does the Xpower actually have "Auto Lane Change" - what settings to allow the car to change lanes itself once indicator has been applied. Sorry to disbelieve but in 3000 miles it's not something I've seen, unless linked to LKA/emergency lane keeping being active but...

What car did you have before the X Power. 🙂

Same as @Bricktop X PWR also had an Audi e-tron but on salary sacrifice. Had a fantastic deal since 2020 (£390 p/m & 9k miles) and of course every car was going to be more expensive. I drove the Trophy LR and liked it, then researched the hell out of it so I knew the good & flaky points. Then...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Thanks for the update & pics. Still nothing for me. Just to clarify, are we actually saying that the car is changing from one lane to another following the driver indicating and not having to move the steering wheel? This is what a Tesla will do with enhanced autopilot for example. When I tried...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

@Mrugesh I still couldn't get Auto Lane Change to work on any combination of LKA/ACC/TJA etc. Nothing in the manual. How did you get it to work? Genuine question as at no point in 600 miles did the car change lanes for me when I indicated in ACC or TJA. Road trip went well. I added some more...

    1st big(ish) road trip.

Successful journey. Comfortable & relaxing with ACC/TJA on the motorway. 575 miles and 3.0mls/kWh average. Used Tesla SCs the whole journey (4 times) and saved £16 on the non-member pricing by joining so £5 up and still have 28 days of membership. Will probably cancel as don't go off too much...

    1st big(ish) road trip.

Yes agree. No aches & pains. The 1st part to Banbury was 2.25 hours and leg was aching but that's because I'm 50. Seating especially the heated bits comfortable for me. I'm 6'1" so I have seat almost fully back and raised a bit and no issues.

    1st big(ish) road trip.

Brighton area to Liverpool this morning via 2x Tesla Superchargers (Banbury & Stoke). Could have skipped the 2nd one and gone to a local Liverpool charger (Dobbies Speke was back-up plan) but bladder won the race. Anyway...so much cheaper than all other networks and very simple to use, plus...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Thanks for the YouTube link. I've seen that vid before but didn't pick up on the lane change thing. I wanna get out and try it!! His hands didn't seem to move so it appears that the indicator signal to change lane was enough, but I've never felt the car start to move (or maybe I instinctively...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Topped up to 100% for 1st time in a couple of weeks and it optimistically shows 243 miles. Will need to start with 100% early Saturday for drive to Liverpool and if bladder holds out hoping to get to Tesla Banbury after 135 miles. Gonna try and use just Tesla SCs to save money this trip where...

Haha. A guy driving a Japanese car complaining about Chinese cars.

    One of the biggest problems......

Very similar to what I had a few months back. Didn't expect the sudden drop in power. Previous Audi E-tron would clearly show that I had 100% power and it would slowly reduce down, but never felt like it was going to struggle up a hill at a reasonable speed. I've got a 600 mile round-trip from...

    MG4 XPower Range and efficiency

Am I missing something here about "Auto Lane Change" - TJA in the brochure is: "If the system detects dense traffic or a traffic jam at speeds below 35mph, the driver can activate this function. The MG4 EV will automatically follow the vehicle in front, controlling its acceleration ,braking and...
