    If it's 'stainless' steel and is made in China, it is very likely to go rusty in a short space of time. It is a sad fact but has been my experience over many years and with a wide range of products from outside lights to BBQ accessories ... or almost anything else you can name.

    That's interesting to hear; it sounds very similar to mine - but I don't know if the LR is different to the ER in this area (I suspect maybe not). And I confess to not being entirely sure of the Irish specs, being (presumably) RHD, but seemingly using EU model titling? I do rely on the tag...
