    MG4 won’t charge at all

AC and DC charging appear to be separate. If the car will not charge on Rapid (DC) chargers, have your tried AC chargers (or vice versa)?

KWH delivered vs battery percent expected

There are also fixed losses of about 100W consumed by the car whilst charging. This is in addition to the variable losses due to heat in the charging system. 100W on a 50KW DC charger or a 7KW AC charger are insignificant but 100W on a 2KW granny charger is an additional 5% loss.

You also need to add the various losses. So add around 15% loss for AC charging and around 5% for DC.

Please put your hands on the steering wheel

Pressing the steering wheel harder does not make the car think that you are holding the wheel. It needs to detect a small force either clockwise or anticlockwise on the wheel (a small resistance left or right on the wheel) to know that you are there.
