air conditioning system

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC ) systems use advanced technologies to regulate temperature, humidity, and indoor air quality in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, and in enclosed vehicles. Its goal is to provide thermal comfort and remove contaminants from the air. HVAC system design is a subdiscipline of mechanical engineering, based on the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. Modern HVAC designs focus on energy efficiency and sustainability, especially with the rising demand for green building solutions. In modern construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers integrate HVAC systems with energy modeling techniques to optimize system performance and reduce operational costs. "Refrigeration" is sometimes added to the field's abbreviation as HVAC&R or HVACR, or "ventilation" is dropped, as in HACR (as in the designation of HACR-rated circuit breakers).
HVAC is an important part of residential structures such as single family homes, apartment buildings, hotels, and senior living facilities; medium to large industrial and office buildings such as skyscrapers and hospitals; vehicles such as cars, trains, airplanes, ships and submarines; and in marine environments, where safe and healthy building conditions are regulated with respect to temperature and humidity, using fresh air from outdoors.
Ventilating or ventilation (the "V" in HVAC) is the process of exchanging or replacing air in any space to provide high indoor air quality which involves temperature control, oxygen replenishment, and removal of moisture, odors, smoke, heat, dust, airborne bacteria, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Ventilation removes unpleasant smells and excessive moisture, introduces outside air, and keeps interior air circulating. Building ventilation methods are categorized as mechanical (forced) or natural.

Active grille shutters keep opening and closing

The active grill shutters of my MG4 Luxery (with heat pump) keep opening&closing, at least when the car is stopped, e.g. for a traffic light or on destination. If it also happens when driving, I don't know - can't hear. If I disengage the a/c, it stops. But at current temperatures of around 10...

    Evaporator needs replacing

My evaporator needs replacing in my MG4 already. I got it in November of 2022. I was told it is not under warranty as it's not the "engine", which I find ludicrous. I'm also not happy that at 3 years I need to replace such a big part. Anyone else have evaporator issues?
