The vehicle blind spot monitor or simply blind-spot monitoring is a vehicle-based sensor device that detects other vehicles located to the driver’s side and rear. Warnings can be visual, audible, vibrating, or tactile.
Vehicle blind spot (VBS) monitors may do more than monitor the sides and rear of the vehicle. They may also include "Rear Cross-Traffic Alert", "which alerts drivers backing out of a parking space when traffic is approaching from the sides."

    S6 Wing Mirrors

    For the S6 Owners here, does the edge of the wing mirrors convex enough to show more of the blindspot if that makes sense. Im not referring to the blind spot sensor/light but the physical mirror itself.

    I have quite a wide blind spot from the pillar and the driver’s wing mirror. Looking at the car it seems it’s set up with the UK driver’s wing mirror much closer to the pillar than the passenger one.
