I own a HS PHEV EXECUTIVE and I'm concerned about the timing chain replacement interval, I travel quite a bit and I'm starting to think about these interventions. Any of you have any info, has anyone changed the timing chain kit or water pump before? How will you proceed?

Straight forward question: Is it worth it to charge the electric battery while driving in a highway on petrol? Further questions: Should I deplete the battery and then switch to petrol on long distances? Is there a maintenance reason to have always some battery left?

Driving the MG HS PHEV hybrid up a hill it seemed to lose power and didn’t respond. the adaptive cruise yellow light was on. Pulled over not sure what it was and it worked OK on restart. I wonder is there a setting that could have caused this?
