The western screech owl (Megascops kennicottii) is a small owl native to North and Central America, closely related to the eastern screech owl. The scientific name commemorates the American naturalist Robert Kennicott.

    Screeching when reversing - not using brakes

    I've started to get a really annoying screeching noise when reversing. I do not think it's brakes because when I apply the brakes it stops. There is no problem in how the car moves though. Any ideas?
