**Wired CarPlay** refers to Apple CarPlay functionality that operates through a **physical USB cable connection** between an iPhone and a compatible vehicle’s infotainment system. When connected, the car’s display mirrors supported iPhone apps (such as Maps, Music, Messages, and Phone), allowing control via the touchscreen, buttons, or Siri. Unlike wireless CarPlay, a wired connection requires the cable but often provides a more stable connection and simultaneously charges the iPhone.
