2025 hs front parking sensors

I went through all of the above suggestions to get the parking sensors to work. The cameras worked fine but not the sensors. I had to take it back to the dealership garage and they tried to reset it but they keep turning off again. In the end I had to wait a couple of weeks for MG to send new instructions to the dealership maybe it was a new code . Took it back to the garage and it was fixed. Great car love it.

Thanks, I'll try the dealer. Mine is the Hybrid+ rather than the PHEV, but it might be the same issue.

The front parking sensors do NOT activate or beep automatically when you are near the wall, if you manually click the 360 Camera then it will start beeping, or if you engage reverse and the 360 camera shows automatically then it will start beeping, its weird, my Qashqai front sensors always used to beep when parking in my garage, but for MG HS PHEV I have to manually select 30 Camera when entering garage.

Another observation that I have, the parking sensors have accurate proximity distance sensing but the 360 camera shows the car bigger in size by about 6 inches on all sides, let me try to explain it, when I park in any parking spot, the top view of 360 camera shows that left & right sides of my car are about to touch the white parking lines while top view shows that front & rear sides of the car have already covered the front & rear parking lines but when you step out there is about 6 inches of actual space on all sides from what 360 shows, my Qashqai 360 was VERY accurate, infact you can precisely manoeuvre Qashqai based on what clearance the 360 was showing, but MG 360 is not accurate.

In my HS Hybrid+, even switching the 360 camera on does NOT activate the sensors if you are in drive, you have to go into reverse momentarily to do so. Crazy!

Unfortunately the parking sensors do not sound on my 2025 HS PHEV Trophy just by turning on the 360° cameras. Cameras work fine, but no warning sounds. The only way to get it to make a warning sound is to either select reverse (but it turns off automatically when you drive above a set speed (15MPH I think)), or by swiping from top to bottom on the infotainment screen and selecting “Parking Radar”. It then works fine and automatically turns off when your speed increases.
It would be a great improvement if the warning sounds worked whenever the 360° camera was turned on.

My HS PHEV is on the R67 firmaware which I believe is the current version, which firmware are you on?

I am on R67 too, it was updated on its first service at the end of February. Is there a setting that you have changed to make the warning sounds work just by turning on the 360° camera? It would be much better if it worked by doing that.

I found it odd. But I thought about it and realised that if they came on when engaging forward motion the warning sounds would sound when in a que and close to the car in front. You get used to it.
