AC Charging issue - but I don't think it's the dreaded CCU

Not a clue! I thought mine were marked up ph1, ph2 ph3 in faintly embossed markings , but its a bit dark now to go and check. Which ole is live on the single phase , ie not blanked, its likely its the same on the 3 phase cable for single phase charging, but I did not say that. This message will self destruct in 20 seconds.
:) Cheers. I'll look in the morning. I'm just relieved it doesn't look to be the car.

With the 3-phase OBC, it (internally) binds 2 of the phases together when presented with a 7kW+ single phase charge supply. Logically the power comes through L1 (phase 1), as that's what's used when a single phase cable is used, but the OBC splits this to use the L1 phase plus one other - presumably L2 (phase 2).

Thanks. I'll check the cables tomorrow, but I'm guessing, partly because the issue seems intermittent, and partly because continuity checks aren't representative of current flow, that it'll be hard to diagnose. No matter, I have a way forward. The last 3 charges, all of well over an hour, have been on 7kW single phase, but not our old cable.
