Actual and proper S6 aftermarket accessories wish list.

Looks great! How did you take the old one off and fixed this one?
I didn't remove the original badge, the black one is the exact size and profile, I just stuck it on top of it. To be honest the chrome of the original which can be seen from the side I really like and I'm regretting not ordered the matched rear at this point as I've read a number of comments that people don't like the full drop on covers which I've used previously on the Power as they make the badge look bigger.

Cod damnit, I'm going to get the bloody rear as well.

just ordered *** 🥴

Where did you order from in the end @Giller I lost track? The front looks very good. I see the label on box says MG7, maybe thats where it's going wrong...
AliExpress thanks to another member of this parish who posted it. The MG7 is a high end hybrid which is not available in this country, it’s not listed as MG7, it’s listed as 11.5cm badge which is the actual size.

I will go with Plastidip. Just ordered a can of glossy black. Will do both logos and the model letters. That green EV is horrible!
If successful, I'll probably do the chrome around the windows too, although I might go for matt black there. Will try and see.

Will wait for the result pics. Actually I quite like the virulent green but thankfully we are all different.

I was thinking the same but I better try with watercolours first so it can be washed if it looks bad on dark grey... 😆
Wrapping in black or carbon film was another idea picked off YouTube but seems too much work ...
Black badges on white car should look great! Photos please!

Plastidip is fairly resistant to washing etc. but easy to remove if you want. It just peels off. Also washes off if you use petroleum based chemicals.

Did anyone tried this one? I ordered a few for my S6 which arrives in about 6 weeks (probably same boat as this dome). Reviews are from "doesn't work" to brilliant.

My experience with those domes is that it's just a bigger area to collect dirt.
Works better to clean the lens and apply whatever kind of glass coating.

What kind of glass coating do you use? And did you ever had a problem with the camera because of dirt on it?

I use RainX on my current cars rear facing camera and it does reduce the amount of cleaning required significantly

I've coated all side windows, the glass roof and camera lenses with Carpro flyby30. Definitely works on the windows, and so far I've not needed to clean the cameras. Been aboyt 3 weeks since I applied the coating, and it's been raining pretty much non stop since then.

I didn't know the Carpro flyby30. But what I read now, it is very long lasting and better then rainx, of which I still have 2 bottles. Probably going to get some of the Carpro stuff.
