What about battery purchase vs lease? Or did Renault can that business model for the later cars?
No, Renault don't do it any more, it seemed like a good idea at the time (5 or so years ago), because it lowered the initial purchase cost of the car, and guaranteed your EV battery for life (because you never owned it yourself), but, probably because nobody else did it, Renault decided it wasn't the way forward.
