We have the Exite for the sole reason of fabric seats, however much other gadgets and sockets would be handy, I can’t bear (bare!) leather seats on sunny days.

I also wanted fabric seats, but also keyless entry and rain sensing wipers (both are fantastic on my Nissan Leaf) so ended up going for the Exclusive.
The irony is I am now looking for seat covers for the seats!!

I've gone for an excite mainly due to a deal a couldn't say no too and it was only a month to wait for it to be delivered. The only thing I think il miss is the heated seats. Everything else I'm not fussed about. I thought the Excite didn't come with auto dimming mirror but just read above and checked the brochure and the LR Excite does come with auto dimming mirror which I'm glad about as I love it on my current 56 plate mondeo! I like the look of the roof rails for sure but I'd never actually use them. Was 55 quid a month less on my lease to go for the excite.
