New to AC servicing. Vehicle 2 yeas old, What needs doing regarding AC service?

Nothing, it is a sealed system. Just make sure you use it regularly to keep the seals lubricated.

As long as the cabin filter is changed on a regular basis it will be OK.

Cabin filter & possibly a regas but at 2 years old the gas should be fine

As far as I'm aware it's all working fine, the next service is in March.

If the dealer tries to sell you an air con service, don't take. It's just a way of making some extra cash.

My aircon stopped cooling in June car only 2.5 years old. Was making weird noises and not cooling. Took it in tested and was low on gas. Refilled and all couplings checked for leaks. Now works fine, free of charge.

The only servicing you should have to do is to change the filter every 4 or 5 years.

My old D-Max was 11 years old and had the filter changed once at about 80,000km and it still worked fine.

The issue with this is that if you don't follow the service regime it won't be covered under warranty if something goes wrong. Trust me, if it goes wrong it can cost a huge sum of money to fix especially if it's the compressor. At two years it will mostly be filter changes & check for leaks. Make sure you use the Aircon regularly at least for 10mins each month to keep the seals lubed.

The pollen filter is a standard service item. I've never seen air con mentioned in any car service schedule. Please can you show where the air con is mentioned in the service schedule?
