Air Play iOS 26

Hello! Does anyone know if MG will support the new Air Play features from the IOS 26 update? Could not get it to work on the day of release. (ZS EV 23)

I've never heard of Airplay being used in cars, I thought it was more for connecting to TVs and speakers.

You will be able to stream video content through AirPlay from your vehicle's screen once the update is rolled out. There are a few caveats to new CarPlay video streaming. Drivers will only be able to stream video content via AirPlay when the vehicle is parked. This safeguard is designed to prevent iPhone users from accessing video content while driving and to avoid accidents. Additionally, brands have to support AirPlay streaming on their vehicles for this feature to work. If MG doesn't already support it then it's highly unlikely to be added - certainly not to existing models. Maybe new models might get it, or it might be retrofitted to the top-of-the-range cars (like Cyberster, IM5 and IM6), but us who already have MGs will not see this.

To be honest I stopped reading the article half way through as it seemed to be mostly saying nothing.

I very much doubt MG would add this to existing cars.

Just getting Car Play to work each time you plug an iPhone in would be a great start !
