I found the reason. Like somebody mentioned in this thread, it was an app that seems not to be fully compatible with iOS 26. As soon as I removed it from the CarPlay settings, it worked just fine.
That’ll be because that app uses constant Bluetooth connection to warn you of speed cameras etc.. and CarPlay also needs constant Bluetooth so they interfere with each other, other apps that use Bluetooth constantly like this might have the same problem. Wired CarPlay doesn’t depend on Bluetooth so that might be a better option if you want to continue using apps like that. I imagine iOS 26 runs Bluetooth connections slightly different too which makes the problem even worse than it was before.Saphe Link App.
