All knowing car alarm

About an hour after we arrived home the car alarm was triggered. On checking I found I had left one of the rear doors on the first latch only. I unlocked the car, shut the door properly and locked up. All fine. I've now received a text message saying 'the abnormal invasion into your vehicle has triggered an alarm on...date & time. Seems to be a nifty piece of kit to let you know your car is possibly being nicked. Well done MG

Don't know if the MG3 is different, but I get both a text message and a notification on iSmart. Wife is added as secondary account and she gets them too.

Hi Clive. Can't honestly tell you. I did try to connect my android phone when I got the car last year, but after a few dismal failures I gave up. Never bothered since, so I'm not sure if I am or not. aitch
