Well i reckon they look ok, with the added bonus of being able to inflate the tyres rather than deflate, unlike the plastic frisbees.

I prefer the look of the covers and the extra miles range they give, even if only a few. Inflating the tyres is straight forward with a screw on attachment to your inflator that clips onto the tyre nozzle, rather than screws on.
 
Yes, the streamlining save energy but you’ll save as much or more by not hammering the loud pedal.

You also save heaps by driving just a little slower. I get a big improvement at 95 vs 110 km/h. The data from the Tesla test I linked to suggesting roughly 10% savings for this 15 km/h (10 mph) difference.

Thanks you three. Kiwi, I'll have a look at that link.

I rarely bother speeding these days so we're looking at around 3 % saving. Not huge but it helps the range/miles-per-kWh game.
