Android Auto/Apple car Play adapter for new MG HS Hybrid Trophy

Hi, can anyone recommend a good Android Auto/Apple CarPlay adapter for the MG HS auto Trophy Hybrid + ?

I have an iPhone as does my daughter, but my wife has a Samsung phone so needs to be compatible for both if possible.

Have people found that with an adapter plugged in the MG app doesn't work as well?

I have AAA wireless 2, which works fine, though its only for Android.
I wanted to have motorola ma1, but finally got this as it took less time and less money.
Though later I was wondering why i didnt get some dongle which is able to play video on my screen.

Had a usb ‘stick’ one in last car bought for about £10 on AliExpress works fine in MG. Since bought a smaller style - see photo also works fine doesn’t affect MG app as far as
I can tell. Only used Apple CarPlay

Thank you for replying. We did get a cheap one from Temu for our current Vauxhall Grandland but it didn't like switching between Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also didn't let the car's data via Bluetooth to our phones. It could just be the car, since it's the worst we have ever owned.
Can't wait for the New MG HS Hybrid + in three weeks.

Hi not certain if site rules allow direct link to products but just put “apple carplay android auto dongle” into Google and loads of links come up to wherever you wish to buy from…..Aliexpress EBay Amazon etc.

I have ottocast mini cube 3.0 in HS Hybrid+
It works great for Android Auto. Fast connection and very responsive.
There are some issues that are more Car issues than dongle:
- It always connects to your phone and open Android auto on MG Infotainment. You cant disable that. I want to have Android connected and open Android interface only if I need it.
It is very irritating.. You start your car, put it in reverse, camera shows on infotainment, an secod after it switches to android auto as conncetion is established.

• Navigation from Android is not integrated in main driver dashboard.
• Cant use Phone feature from MG, Android bypases cars phone.
