Android auto no voice comunication

Have connection with car with waze and android auto works but no spoken voice also okay Google displays on screen again shows on car screen but no voice reply. Have not muted anything any tips would be appreciated thanks

I have issues with Android Auto regularly (i think its my phone). I just end up unplugging it and plugging it back in.
Calls completely fail for me and I have to tap the bluetooth icon to redirect it to phone loud speaker.
