Can any one offer suggestions please.
Android auto connects to car shows Google maps or waze.
Navigation. Happens and displayed on car screen. But no voice navigation
Also try okay Google displays on screen on car question but again no voice.
Have not muted anything.
Any suggestions please thank you for any advice

check it has paired to the car with bluetooth and that the settings against the car in the bluetooth device list allow voice communication.

Android Auto automatically pairs your phone to the cars Bluetooth.

I have an issue with Android Auto where any phone calls that come in won't go through the car - automatically goes to my phone itself and if I click send to Bluetooth it sends it to my smart watch.
Infuriating.

The voice control on the stereo itself might be turned right down. Next time you're in the car, ask Google a question and then turn the volume knob up when it replies. You can manually control the volume of the voice assistant just by doing that.
If it's turned right down you'll hear nothing even if voice guidance is activated on the phone etc.

For Android auto to work it must be attached via a cable to the USB port. Android auto is always a bit flakey the new version is supposed to get rid of some of the bugs. Also if you haven't selected the right settings when tethering with the cable it may stop some functions.
