Android Auto Voice Control

Hi everyone,

Just bought an MG ZS EV long range, and have successfully connected my phone on Android Auto.
I can operate the screens perfectly and everything works except for, when I press the voice button on the steering wheel and speak, the car seems to be responding rather than Android Auto.

Any ideas please?

I think you have to hold the button for 5 seconds for iAndroid Auto to respond.

I'll give it a go. Someone else told me you have to program the * button to do it

You can hold button for longer period this works. You can also switch off Hello MG and say OK google.

Found that ok google only works when stationary with hello MG on, with it off you can use when driving. Crazy set up, but got mine sorted eventually!

Had lots of problems with built in hello mg so use Android Auto.
