Annoying Blip Noise

Had my MG4 for 3 years almost and never even knew there was a speed limiter🙄. Other than cruise control that is!
Even if I'd known about it, there's no way would I enable speed limit sign control! Far too unreliable sign reading!

I have not used it myself but the function is not is not a speed controller just a limit system that warns you when you go over a set speed. The manual calls it an Overspeed Threshold setting in the Driver's display. See here:

There is a beep as well when you reach the speed that you set.

Forgot to say, someone set it to 20, yes 20 miles/hour before I collect our mg4.
It was really annoying before I figure out how to change it.

The speed limit function in MG Pilot stops the car from going above that set speed. Set either by a detected speed limit sign (intelligent control) or manually (via the lefthand toggle switch). Apparently a kick on the accelerator allows you to exceed the limit.

Ive been meaning to ask this questions for some time now!

When driving, i hear a blip noise (one single tone), this occurs infrequently.
However a few weeks ago i drove from East Midlands to Durham (190miles) and this single blip noise occurred several times during the course of my journey.

Can anyone explain what it is?

Thank you,
I get a blip I traded it to speed cameras you could check that.?

That's the driver attention warning, there is a flag but it lasts 1 second. Turn off using the MG pilot custom.

Thank you,
I have had an intermittent annoying blip on a few occasions. Sounded like it was coming from the car. Eventually discovered it’s something to do with the dashcam. Haven’t worked out to stop it.

Look at the post above, turn off in MG Pilot Custom.
