Another annoyance I meant to post months ago - SAT NAV keyboard can't have letters and numbers at the same time

Picture best explains it. I rarely use the built-in satnav except to show where I am.

I tend to use Waze on a separate device or the awful Android auto.

My Android phone can have a different keyboard per application but seems to be blocked in Android auto.

I use Google maps on Android Auto and tell it where I want to go, no keyboard involved.

Me too, but there are some places near me where it just can work it out.,
My question "Lidl near Brooklands, surrey" or just "nearest Lidl"
every time it says "Navigating to Brooklands, Sale" 198 miles away.

I think you have to say Weybridge not Brooklands when I tried it but just add it to favourite.
