I've fiddled a bit more with the updated app (bear in mind that I've had the car less than 2 weeks, so don't have much history to work with) and personally what was daft has got dafter.
(The caveat here is that I am using the granny charger so my car is still on charge until the moment I set of to work in the morning. Once my 7KW charger is installed tomorrow, my situation should improve.)
Before update 2.0.3 on Iphone, if I wanted to turn the heating on remotely I would need to stop the charge before it would allow me to turn the heat on. This always seem counter intuitive as surely I want it to draw power from the mains to heat the car and not deplete the battery. However my non scientific investigation did look like once the heating was turned on, it did indeed still draw power from the mains, just didn't really indicate it.
Now with the update, I can no longer start or stop a charge from the app. Therefore I need to be in the car to do this. So remotely turning the heating on is now impossible. Nor can I see what the charge rate is, the estimated time that the car will reach the pre-set charge level, or set the schedule, or adjust the charging period.
The only saving grace is that the available miles is still indicated in the app, and by refreshing the home screen, I can see this going up and know that the car is still charging.
I just do not get how the app developer thought this was an improvement to their app.
