Another IM5 review (Australia).

The cons listed are what I'd generally agree with as opposed to some saying the ride quality is bad, driver experience is bad etc. that I didn't find to be true at all. During my 20 odd min test drive, the driver alerts warning went off a few times and I can see why that could get annoying after a while. I really wish the ADAS setting were saved between restarts.

Edit: I just learned that they can't be saved because of Euro NCAP, which is annoying but makes complete sense.

I've been told the ADAS settings can be saved, but I don't have the details on how. They do revert each drive but you can recalled saved settings. There may be some things you can't save due to NCAP/EU law such as speed limit monitoring.

The review seems ok but the reviewer seems to be ignorant of some important things:
  • ADAS system settings can be saved
  • There is a rear view camera available instead of the mirror
  • Toe space under the seats depends on front seat height, for people who elevate the seat it is fine.
I struggle to understand why reviewers say 1 USBC socket in the back isn't enough: buy a £2 1:2 splitter socket and plug that in! It isn't like there is no solution.

The high floor in the back is a fair comment as is the boot size. It won't be for everyone.
